SLGA015G Evolution 9 Spring Drive 43.8 mm Ushio
Description of the watch
This diver's watch is equipped with the revolutionary 9RA5 caliber, which offers an accuracy of ±10 seconds per month and a five-day power reserve.
The deep black dial features a pattern inspired by the particular appearance of the oceans surrounding the Japanese archipelago, where powerful currents meet.
One of these is the Kuroshio Current, also known as the "Black Current". Circulating northwards, beyond Japan, towards the Arctic North Pacific, it is one of the largest ocean currents in the world. The powerful and sometimes violent waves created by this current inspired the deep black and richly textured surface of the dial of this new 200m water resistant dive watch.
The 43.8mm diameter case and bracelet are made of high intensity titanium, a material that is 30% lighter than stainless steel and more resistant to scratches and corrosion. The bi-directional rotating ceramic bezel protects the watch from scratches, increasing its durability, and has been coated with Lumibrite to ensure better visibility in the dark (as well as on the hands and indexes).
